Building solutions for a better life. The business area Bosch Building Technologies is a leading international supplier of systems, solutions, and services that enhance the safety of people, buildings, and property, and also contribute to greater comfort, energy efficiency, and sustainability.

Bosch Building Technologies is divided into the international product business and the regional system integration business. Currently, the three product areas of video systems, access control & intrusion detection systems and communication systems as well as the associated cross-sectional functions within the business area are to be set up as an independent unit and then further developed by a new owner as a sustainable core business.

• You manage a group of specialists in the field of video analytics and ensure the constant development of the team.
• Together with your team, you will develop, design and implement innovative solutions in the area of video analytics.
• You will work closely with the product management--, research & development-team and other departments to ensure product quality and adhere to schedules.
• You take an active role in the agile setting, for example as a facilitator or product owner.
• You promote agile principles and methods within the team and the entire department.
• You regularly report and present the progress and results to management.
• You ensure compliance with all the relevant safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Completed studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, engineering or comparable qualification with additional subject-specific qualification in the field of video analytics.
• Personality and Working Practice: Very good communication skills, flexible in deployment, highly persuasive, adaptable and able to work in a team. In addition, an independent, responsible and structured way of working as well as a strong conceptual and analytical understanding
• Experience and Know-How: Several years of professional experience in the development of software solutions, ideally in the area of video analytics. Additionally, experience in leading teams and using agile methods. Also basic knowledge of machine learning.
• Languages: very good command of written and spoken German and English.
